COSTUME HIRE

THE COSTUME COLLECTION

The Maddermarket Theatre has one of the most comprehensive collections of theatrical costumes in East Anglia. Period costumes have been skilfully created, restored and donated over its eighty five year history.

To date, the collection boasts some 30,000 costumes, over 3,000 hats and a 1,000 pairs of shoes.

COSTUME HIRE

Costumes from the collection are available for theatre groups, business organisations and the general public to hire.

The collection specialises in period costume, from Medieval to Victorian and early 20th Century.

PRICES

All hire charges are available on request.

A deposit will also be required on all costumes hired, which is refundable on satisfaction that costumes are returned in the state in which they were first taken.

Costumes returned late will be charged accordingly.

OPENING HOURS

Costumes can only be viewed and returned to the wardrobe during the following hours:

TUESDAYS          4pm to 6pm

THURSDAYS      5pm to 7pm

SATURDAYS     11am to 1pm
